Smith Dangouo

Smith Dangouo

Condition:
Brand New. May include items displayed in stores.

Features:
The DR type is what you rely on when the SR (Shallow Runner) type cannot reach the fish's eye level. When Fish Location and Speed are Clear (Slow): If the fish's location is clear and their speed is slow, dive the lure aggressively (guriguri-tto) down to a depth near their eye level. Then, utilize the lure's sense of suspension to retrieve it slowly. This allows you to slowly search for fish close to that range while limiting further descent. When Feeding Range is Wide or Unclear (Active Search): When the biting range is wide or inconsistent, retrieving the lure with enough speed to allow it to dive effectively combines the diving angle and speed, which is effective in increasing contact with the fish. Be aware that strikes frequently occur in the situation where the lure changes its trajectory to an ascending path after fully diving, so you must remain attentive all the way to your feet.
If you encounter a situation where fish are milling about in shallow, visible water but the distance they chase is extremely short or they show no enthusiasm to chase, it's time for the SR type. The key operating method is to first get the lure to the fish's eye level. Try retrieving it gently and slowly to bring it right in front of the fish's nose. This lure has the power to reverse your thinking from "slow conditions = difficult" to "slow conditions = fun." It uses a reverse-tapered lip shape to entice fish with a "fluffy," slow, wobbling action that has a slightly released tension and a sense of suspension. It's designed to induce opportunistic bites (Tsumami-gui): even slight inconsistencies in retrieve speed or changes in line tension tend to bring the action (swing width) towards a biting direction. The fact that fish will bite even when you maintain only light line tension is a testament to its bite-inducing design. For anglers new to the Dango Uo (lure series), we recommend starting with the "SR-Low" if you are unsure which to choose.
