Jig Rip Amenouo

Jig Rip Amenouo

Condition:
Brand New. May include items displayed in stores.

Features:
A dedicated cherry salmon jig refined by expert angler Makoto Ono in the premier fields of Tohoku and Hokkaido. Featuring a low-center-of-gravity rear balance design, it is engineered to drive cherry salmon wild. Regardless of the jerk intensity, it transitions instantly from the lift to a sharp vertical or sliding fall.
The jig’s movement is engineered to trigger the predatory instincts of cherry salmon. "Amenouo" is the local name for the Biwa trout, a species native to Lake Biwa. The Biwa trout represents the oldest surviving lineage of the cherry salmon family, having become landlocked in Lake Biwa 500,000 years ago. In contrast, the modern cherry salmon emerged as a new species only 30,000 to 40,000 years ago. Both share the same ancestral DNA. "Amenouo"—a life force that has endured since long before humanity walked the Earth. We honor this legacy by naming our dedicated cherry salmon jig after it.
